User Profile
This page describes User Profile feature of the Management Center for Eclipse Mosquitto (MMC).
User Profile can be accessed by a user with any role
User Profile Overview
The User Profile feature provides a view of the current user's information, like username, roles, and user groups. It also provides an option to change a user's password.
To access the user profile, you need to click on the profile icon in the top right of the navigation bar:
There you will see the following page:
It contains information about users' groups and roles and also an "Edit button", which allows you to change the user password.
You need to have user-profile-edit plugin enabled to be able to change the user password.
Note that you cannot change the password of the root user through the user profile page. The respective message will be displayed. It's only possible to change the root user's password via the environmental variable.
