Hash Algorithms

A hashing algorithm is a mathematical function that garbles data and makes it unreadable.

Hashing algorithms are used by some Streamsheets functions to code text. Hashing protects data at rest, so even if someone gains access to your data, it remains unreadable. Hashing can be helpful in various circumstances like password protection, digital signatures, document and file management.
